Sisterhood’s weekend of sporting activities!
This weekend saw two sets of sporting activities being taken on by The Sisterhood…on Saturday (17th Oct) Sister Amy Sharpe took on the might of the Thames in the ‘Pairs Head’ annual rowing race from Chiswick Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge. Competing in a double scull, the crew had a good race despite the somewhat unpleasant conditions! After her last Head race in 2004, Sister Sharpie enjoyed the day so much that she has entered the Fours Head in November…always a sucker for pain!
Meanwhile on Sunday (18th Oct) in deepest darkest Hampshire, Gaby Stevenson, Louisa Yates and Julia Kendrick took part in the Helly Hansen Adventure race…a gruelling challenge which involved running, mountain biking and kayaking without any paddles (interesting!).
